Who we are
We are Elaway! We exist to accelerate the green transition in Europe, from fossil fuels to electricity. We do so by making the installation and operation of charging facilities for housing communities easy.
Elaway Germany started off last year with the aim to drive change and lead the green transition in Germany using the experience from the Norwegian EV market. Our headquarter is located in the heart of Munich and from there, we aim to realize our ambitions - Making charging more available for everyone and by that, we contribute to a rapid adoption of electric vehicles 🚀.

We need your help
You work closely with the Head of Sales, your teammates and with other cross-functional teams at Elaway. As Sales Manager/ Key Account Manager in the area of Southern Germany with a focus on Munich, you win over and work with Housing Companies as they are your existing and target accounts.
This is your role
You have a very particular set of skills you have acquired over the years working within sales or E-mobility sector. You are a sales manager/ key account manager that truly loves the sales process from start to finish. Cold calling is something you enjoy and likewise you love being responsible and being part of a team.
You act as the lead contact between Elaway & new customers within the housing industry. You understand the needs of your customers, and therefore you make the complex simple. You enjoy actively seeking new opportunities which result in sales. You have the will to win without losing sight of your customer needs. You are able to negotiate terms of agreement within Elaway set boundaries and work to close sales profitably. You are able to challenge customer objections with a view to customer needs using Elaway’s resources to support. You think in solutions and attention to detail is part of your DNA.
Flexibility is essential for us. Charging facilities are our product. When selling them, it's in collaboration and understanding with external and internal stakeholders. Our product portfolio combines sales within the Housing segment.

Who are you
You are the ultimate Sales Machine and you work with discipline and determination. We believe that you have 3-5 years' experience and success in key account /sales management as well as you know how to manage projects. You understand all aspects of sales and are an excellent communicator who is not afraid to approach new contacts and speak up. Also, you pay attention to details, have the ambition to progress within a new and fast-evolving industry and either are located or are willing to relocate to the Munich area.
In terms of languages, you need to be fluent in English and German (verbal and written) – additional languages and cross-cultural experience are a plus. If you have previous experience in Business Intelligence & CRM systems in B2C environments and/or have working experience in the EV industry and premium branded product companies that would be an extra perk.
Finally, you do not only love to win in business, but also in our internal table tennis tournaments – having fun at work is super important to us.

About Elaway
Everyone looks to Norway to learn about EV's and renewable energy. Here they find Elaway, a young tech company founded by hydropower. After two years of operation, we have built close to 600 charging facilities to serve more than 45.000 parking spaces in Norway. During 2022 we have establised ourselves in Sweden and Germany to utilize all our experience and knowledge when conquering Europe.
Elaway is a scale-up in a market growing at rocket speed. We aim to accelerate the shift towards EVs – one of many solutions to the climate crisis. Backing us, we have two owners: Hafslund and Eviny, who have been working with electrification for more than 100 years. After two years of experimentation in the most potent EV market globally, we are now building the charging platform to provide European EVs with electricity.
