We are Elaway! We exist to accelerate the green transition in Europe, from fossil fuels to electricity. We do so by making the installation and operation of charging facilities for housing communities easy. We are a group of 70+ amazing people spread across Europe, all believing that we are here to make a difference. After all, it takes a few people to become Europe’s largest provider of car charging facilities for housing communities. ⚡️
After having operated in Norway, Sweden and Germany for some years, we are now setting sail to Denmark with the goal of electrifying the Danish market. With the experience from our other markets, we are ready to take on the Danish market – but of course, it takes a few people to electrify Denmark. And that’s where you come in. 🤩

We need your help
We are looking for an experienced account manager to help us build up our Danish sales team and who is ready to electrify Denmark. Flexibility is essential for us. We work with the sales and service of charging facilities, always in collaboration and understanding with external and internal stakeholders. We focus on multi-housing segment since charging your car is easiest at home. To reach our goal, we focus on three key areas within sales:
- Active sales
- Strategic accounts
- Installer partners
This is your role
You play a crucial part in our Danish sales team and have a very particular set of skills that you have acquired over the years working within sales. You are a subtle hunter that truly loves to run fast, but you also know when it's time to take a step back and listen to your client.
You are responsible for the whole sales process including everything from actively reaching out to new prospects by cold-calling, book and conduct site visits/sales meetings, to follow-up meetings and closing the process by sending out offers and closing deals. While we are also looking for an SDR to support you in booking meetings, cold-calling will still be a big part of the role, especially in the beginning.
Who are you
We believe that you have 3-5 years of experience within sales, particularly within outbound sales. Additionally, you have previous experience in working with CRM-systems. You are excited to meet and talk to new people and feel comfortable with actively reaching out to prospects. 📲
In terms of languages, you are fluent in both Danish and English, verbally and written. Since most customers in Denmark prefer communicating in Danish, it is essential that you feel comfortable leading the sales process completely in Danish.
Since this role involves site visits with clients, having a driver's license is necessary.

Hybrid positions
We believe in in-person collaboration, but understand that a day or two at home can be a great way to just work through the to-do list. Thus, most of our positions are hybrid, meaning we would like you to be at one of our offices at least three times a week.

About Elaway
Norway has become a go-to place for learning about electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy, and at the heart of it all is Elaway, a scale-ip founded in hydropower. After five years in operation, we've proudly built 1,400 charging facilities, serving over 140,000 parking spaces across our four markets. In 2022, we expanded our footprint to Sweden and Germany, drawing on our experience to make EVs more accessible throughout Europe. In 2024, we have added Denmark as our fourth market.
Elaway is a rapidly growing player in a fast-moving industry. Our goal is straightforward: to speed up the transition to EVs as part of the solution to the climate crisis.
