We are Elaway! We exist to accelerate the green transition in Europe, from fossil fuels to electricity. We make EV charging easy for housing communities, removing the hassle from installation and operation.
With a team of 60+ passionate individuals across Europe, we're already the leading provider of car charging facilities for housing communities. Now, we’re looking for a Business Developer to help us grow smarter and faster.

This is your role
You’ll play a key role in shaping Elaway’s future, identifying opportunities, and executing high-impact initiatives aligned with our strategy.
- Drive Strategic Growth – Lead projects that boost revenue, improve margins, and optimize costs.
- Master M&A – Analyze markets, evaluate opportunities, and manage seamless deal integrations.
- Expand Our Reach – Identify and assess new or adjacent markets and segments to fuel expansion.

What You Bring
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and executing business strategies.
- Scale-up experience is a plus—things move fast here.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience—we care about results, not just titles.
In terms of languages, you need to be fluent in English. Additionally, we consider it an advantage if you also speak a Nordic language.

Hybrid positions
We believe in in-person collaboration, but understand that a day or two at home can be a great way to just work through the to-do list. Thus, most of our positions are hybrid, meaning we would like you to be at one of our offices at least three times a week.

About Elaway
Norway has become a go-to place for learning about electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy, and at the heart of it all is Elaway, a scale-up founded in hydropower. After five years in operation, we've proudly built 1,400 charging facilities, serving over 140,000 parking spaces across our four markets. In 2022, we expanded our footprint to Sweden and Germany, drawing on our experience to make EVs more accessible throughout Europe. In 2024, we have added Denmark as our fourth market.
Elaway is a rapidly growing player in a fast-moving industry. Our goal is straightforward: to speed up the transition to EVs as part of the solution to the climate crisis. We're backed by three solid partners: Hafslund and Eviny, who bring over a century of electrification experience, and SUSI Partners, where we're part of the SUSI Energy Transition Fund.
