Norway has become a go-to place for learning about electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy, and at the heart of it all is Elaway, a young tech company founded in hydropower. After three years in operation, we've proudly built 1,100 charging facilities, serving over 75,000 parking spaces across Norway. In 2022, we expanded our footprint to Sweden and Germany, drawing on our experience to make EVs more accessible throughout Europe.
Elaway is a rapidly growing player in a fast-moving industry. Our goal is straightforward: to speed up the transition to EVs as part of the solution to the climate crisis. We're backed by three solid partners: Hafslund and Eviny, who bring over a century of electrification experience, and SUSI Partners, where we're part of the SUSI Energy Transition Fund. After two years of learning in the world's most influential EV market, we're now building a charging platform to power up European EVs with electricity.
